 From
within each of the world’s spiritual traditions, there
have appeared the Great Ones who demonstrated the teachings
of their tradition not as dogma, but as active entryways to
the Living Presence of God. In his life, Francis demonstrated
all of the miracles of Christ and identified so greatly through
his love of his Beloved that he became one with the Crucified
Christ, receiving the stigmata as evidence.
After his death he was referred to as the Second Christ.
Though he was known as Francis of Assisi, he was rarely to
be found there as he walked thousands of miles giving the
word of God to the peoples and rejoicing in the beauty of
God’s Creation. Francis rejoiced in the presence of
God in all things, openly communicated with all of God’s
creatures and chose the most beautiful places in nature to
be alone with his Beloved.
Join us in Assisi for six days of exploration into the essential
self as revealed by Francis. We will experientially enter
the doorways Francis and Claire have left open for us to touch
the Heart of Creation.
