 The
lives of Saint Francis and Saint Claire represents the ultimate
teaching of discipleship and is the fulfillment of the axiom
that in order to lead one must learn to follow. Francis represents
the disciple who goes direct to God without delay, he does
what is most difficult, he follows the instructions as they
are given by the Master without interpretation, and without
seeking a personal comfort zone, be it-psychological, emotional,
or material.
Claire in imitation of Francis as his disciple, demonstrates
the power of the feminine to live in complete poverty fulfilled
within God. Claire as the sacred Female builds the community
in a cloistered setting and having established herself within
the Beloved, remains there. >
